Swan Quilt (acrobat), 2015
Cut & folded construction of archival digital prints, 43 x 72 x 2.5”

The shapes are arms and legs without a torso. The image arose as a reaction to a partially functioning body (as in partial paralysis) that continues to function, even playfully, as an acrobat. In this pose suggestive of a swan it refers to the story of the outcast black swan hiding among a bevy of pastel swans.
